I'll be the first person to admit I haven't put much thought into ever making it on the big screen unless it helps me pay for more race car things. But getting to be on the only Automotive TV Show on Major Network Television should be pretty rad right?
Honestly, it was ridiculously long days with a lot of standing around waiting for directors to herd cats and rushing to build a car in the hours in between, very (VERY) far from home. Pretty close to my expectations, but when the call comes asking if you want to be on NBC and build some life-sized Hot Wheels, you deal with the showbiz shenanigans.
All in all, it was pretty neat to be a part of something so big. While I'm not chomping at the bit to go back to building prop cars for TV, it wasn't something I ever saw happening for myself!
It's something in between a kids show and show for adult kids who never grew up, so don't take it too seriously if you decide to check it out. If you do, yours truly is on Episodes 6 + 8 of Season 1!
Your Mom here, and I saw you!
You really were on TV 🤣
